How much toilet paper does a person need to consume per year?

How much toilet paper does an average person use?

First, let’s calculate the numbers. Most people use the restroom about 5 times a day, but any number within the range of 4-10 times is considered “normal”. It is said that the average person uses nearly 7 wet wipes each time they use the restroom. Women use approximately 6.41 wipes each time they use the restroom, while men use approximately 8.1 wipes each time. In terms of using washable wipes, both males and females use the same amount, with approximately 2.91 sheets per use. Among them, the United States ranks first in the world with a per capita annual consumption of 12.7 kilograms of toilet paper, while Germany (12.1 kilograms) and the United Kingdom (11.4 kilograms) rank second and third, respectively. The global daily production of toilet paper is over 83 million rolls.

Therefore, if we go to the bathroom 5 times a day and use an average of 7 tissues per day, then a person uses approximately 35 tissues per day. A person will use a roll of 150 sheets of regular toilet paper in approximately 4.3 days. If you want to know how much toilet paper was used in a year, the answer may be around 85 rolls!

How much toilet paper does a family need?

The larger the family, the more toilet paper is needed (as you can imagine). A family of four can use up one roll of regular toilet paper (150 sheets) in about a day. They estimate to use 7 rolls per week and 28 rolls per month. However, please remember that some factors may change these numbers: young children use the restroom more frequently, while those with incontinence may increase the use of household toilet paper, so it is best to keep more.

How much toilet paper should you keep?

As toilet paper is a product with a very long shelf life, it is always advisable to keep one or two extra bags at home in case of emergencies or unexpected customer visits.

Where should I store the excess toilet paper?

There are many rolls in toilet paper packaging, so most people (48%) store the excess rolls under the bathroom sink. 17% of people store rolls of paper on the back of the toilet water tank, and 9% of people store them in the toilet paper holder next to the toilet. Therefore, it is very important to keep the drainage system clean.

2.Clean the surface of the bathroom

Toilet paper is a convenient cleaning tool that can be used to wipe surfaces such as countertops, toilet seats, and flush handles. Its soft texture is particularly suitable for cleaning sensitive surfaces such as mirrors.

3.Toilet seats covering public toilets
